One of the foundational principles of Artstori is sustainability. We are aware of the huge impact fast fashion has on our planet. 73% of clothing ends up in landfills. 1.5 trillion litres of water are used by the industry every year. 20% of industrial water pollution comes from garment manufacturing.

Therefore we prioritize small runs, made from high quality fabric, designed to be worn through every season. However, we have something very exciting to share.

Our new wide leg Pinstripe pants are crafted with TENCEL Lyocell fibre. This fabric is made from sustainably collected wood chips, which are then used to make pulp via renewable energy. The pulp is then milled into TENCEL Lyocell fibers using organic solvents and water.

From start to finish the production process is a closed loop, with a low usage of process resources. TENCEL Lyocell has a lower environmental impact, and the responsibly produced fibers meet the demanding quality and sustainability standards.

The fibers are 100% biodegradable, once the garment's life has been lived, what is derived from nature returns to nature.

No one act can change the world, but one and one add up, so join Artstori in our mission to take care of Mother Earth.
